Best Non-Alcoholic Drinks recommended by a Sommelier

On the middle left of the image is a Spiegelau Lifestyle Coupette filled with a non-alcoholic affogatto. In the background on the left is a rose gold shot glass and in the background on the left is the non-alcoholic Lyre's Amaretti bottle.

Whatever your reason for reaching out for a non-alcoholic drink this season, you'll be far from missing out with the range of products abundant in flavour, diversity, and styles. Bottled, canned, pre-mixed, or fancy fizz, the assortment on the market has never been more comprehensive or exciting.

Choosing a non-alcoholic drink might just be the ticket to get the pep back in your step. Whether you're doing it for charity, are trying to strike a better balance, or - like me - growing a tiny human within you, there's never been a better time.

The Spiegelau Perfect Serve Collection Double Old Fashioned glass sits in the middle left of the image filled with Naked Life Margarita. Dried limes are scattered in front of the glass. In the background on the far left is a cocktail shaker and two lime slices. In the background on the right is a chopping board lying flat with a Naked Life Margarita can on top and a plate of salt.

There's nothing better to kickstart the weekend on a Friday.

Naked Life is distilled using the power of steam to heat the chosen botanicals and turn them into aromatic vapours, which are then captured in a liquid form. While it all sounds like witchcraft to me, magic or not, it's a refreshing, spritzy drink.

Serve it in a Spiegelau Perfect Serve Collection D.O.F. glass with crushed ice, lime wedge and a sprinkle of salt.

In the middle left of the image is the Spiegelau Beer Classics Tulip glass filled with Bilpin's non-alcoholic cider. To the left of the glass is Bilpin's non-alcoholic cider bottle and above is a hand pouring the bottle into the glass. The bottle and glass sit on a chopping board and in the backdrop is a sliced lemon and apple.

In my opinion, cider doesn't need to be alcoholic as it's all about the freshness of fruit with a touch of fizz. I'm looking for that authentic taste that is like crunching an apple straight from the tree.

The Bilpin Non-Alcoholic Apple & Lemon Cider is a blend of hand-picked Granny Smith and Pink Lady apples with the zest of freshly squeezed lemon juice, all bottled up with a fine bead of spritz.

Serve it in a Spiegelau Beer Classics Tulip with a side of alfresco dining for that "Ahhhhhh" moment on a weekend afternoon.

Two Spiegelau Authentis Bordeaux glasses are positioned in the middle filled with Sobriety Society non-alcoholic Shiraz. On the left side of the image is a hand pouring Sobriety Society non-alcoholic Shiraz into the front glass.

This non-alcoholic red wine is made with organically grown grapes and is ideal for couch lounging in your ugg boots.

It uses an ultra-membrane filter to remove the alcohol - cool, huh? What's left is bright, juicy red and blackberry Shiraz and Tempranillo pressings with hints of clove, cardamom and vanilla.

Enjoy from a Spiegelau Authentis Bordeaux glass for the ideal smooth velvety finish. Top Up? Yes, please.

On the left side of the frame is the Spiegelau Craft Beer IPA glass filled with Heaps Normal XPA non-alcoholic beer. Above the glass is a hand pouring the beer into the glass and on the right of the glass is a Heaps Normal XPA non-alcoholic Beer can. Beer nuts are scattered around the glass and in a bowl to the right.

For social get-togethers, there's no question that this is my go-to

This has to be the best non-alcoholic beer on the market - it can seriously stand up to any tasty brew on tap or in a bottle. A designer, brewer, pro surfer and ginger put their heads together and created a beer with a unique recipe, brewing method and non-traditional yeasts.

The result is totally delicious and pairs well with great mates, great times and even better drinks. Pour it into the Spiegelau Craft Beer IPA glass for the real experience.

Lyre's are killing the imitation game with their crafted non-alcoholic spirits in the flavours and styles of drinks we know and love.

Their Amaretti is full of toasted almonds, warm spices like vanilla, cinnamon and hints of orange peel.

A touch of sweetness makes it perfect for sipping on after dinner or - dare I say - glugged generously over vanilla ice cream served in a Spiegelau Lifestyle Coupette?
